Lou, 2002. My parents and I adopted "Lou" (the fox hound) from Hound Rescue around 2001-2002 from a foster family housing him in San Antonio. |
Elvis, November 2005. We brought Elvis home on November 6, 2005. He has been a sweet little guy from the beginning. Our whole family adores him. He enjoys riding in our car and loves to explore the back yard. |
Oscar, March 2005. This is the success story of Oscar, our rambunctious, mischievous, smart, and utterly charming beagle boy, whom I found as a very sad, sick, and malnourished adult beagle after Christmas, 2004. |
Munch, 2004. I just wanted to thank Hound Rescue for the wonderful addition to our family. We adopted Munch over a year and a half ago and he quickly became an important part of our family. |
Tyler, March 2004. We adopted Tyler in March of 2004 and just wanted to let you know what a great little guy we think he is. |
Bella, January 2005. We have had Bella (formerly "Rosie") for a month now, and she is such a wonderful dog! |
Dinger, October 2004. We adopted Dinger on October 8th, 2004. My life has been so much better ever since. I really wanted a Beagle that was a rescue and I looked around a lot until I saw those sad eyes and knew I had found the dog for me. |
Greta, December 2003. Greta was adopted just before Christmas of 2003. I searched and searched the internet for dogs that I thought would be a good match for me and my situation. |
Penny, October 2002 In October of 2002, I decided that I was ready for another doggie. My Golden Retriever (Amber) had died a few months before that and I desperately wanted another dog to love. I got on the internet and started looking up different kinds of dogs. My boyfriend at the time, had a beagle and I loved him to death. He had quite a personality! So I decided that I was going with a Beagle or Beagle Mix...Boy, I had know idea what I was in store for! |
Betty, January 2004. This is Betty, we adopted her on January 1, 2004, she was fostered with Cynthia. She is the absolute best dog, she is loving and playful and full of energy. I am so glad I found her and Hound Rescue.Thank you so very much!!! |
Ranger, May 2002. Belle had been in a foster home in Bastrop for a short time, after being rescued from Animal Control. The foster owners named her Belle, as she didn’t have a name when they picked her up from Animal Control. Because she hadn’t learned her name yet, we didn’t feel bad about renaming her to Ranger Skywalker when we picked her up (to complement our other beagle, Trigger Han Solo). |
